Domaine Paul Blanck & Fils
About the Winery
Domaine Paul Blanck is a 35-hectare family estate in the village of Kientzheim, one of the most beautiful villages in Alsace. The estate is a pioneer in the focus on terroir in Alsace, with previous generations putting their faith in the terroirs to give birth to authentic and natural wines. About 120,000 bottles leave the cellar every year. The estate owns 30 acres of Grand Cru vineyards (including Schlossberg, Furstentum, Wineck-Schlossberg, Mambourg, and Sommerberg) and 30 acres of Lieux-dits and Crus. Frédéric and Philippe Blanck have been managing the estate since 1984, continuing the family tradition of producing terroir wines. The estate practices organic farming (90% of holdings) and offers tastings in a warm and friendly setting opposite the Kientzheim church. Free tastings for individuals, group tours for 8+ people at €20/person.
