About the Winery

Maison Brotte is a renowned fifth-generation family wine producer established in Châteauneuf-du-Pape since 1931 by Charles Brotte. The Brotte family owns three distinct domaines in the Southern Rhône Valley: Domaine Barville in Châteauneuf-du-Pape (the historic family estate with 26.5 hectares), Domaine Grosset in Cairanne (27.5 hectares of grey marl and sand with 1 hectare of 100-year-old Grenache), and Château de Bord in Laudun (22 hectares of terraced vineyards on clay-limestone soils). The family is committed to sustainable agriculture with HVE certification and transitioning to organic practices. They also operate the Brotte Wine Museum in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, created in 1972, which offers an educational audio tour unique in the region. Today, Laurent and Christine Brotte run the business with their sons Thibault and Benoît—the fifth generation.
