Château La Croizille, Grand Cru Classé
About the Winery
Château La Croizille is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé estate with a remarkable contemporary cellar offering panoramic views of the vineyards. The family-owned estate spans 4.5 hectares on a single hillside in the heart of Saint-Émilion, with clay-limestone soils of extraordinary variety—from pure limestone to clay-limestone, marls, and blue and red clays. The vineyard is planted with 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, with vines averaging 35 years. The estate's modern architecture meets all technical requirements and includes a tasting room overlooking the valley. Neighboring Château Tour Baladoz (traditional cellar) can also be visited, offering two visits in one. The estate has received numerous awards including the International Best Of Wine Tourism Award in 2015. Open every day from 10am to 6pm, closed December 24-25, 31 and January 1. The estate also offers a panoramic wine bar, guinguette area for events, and meeting spaces.
