Domaine Moulin-Tacussel
About the Winery
Domaine Moulin-Tacussel embodies the history of AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape in all its complexity and excellence. The estate, directed by Didier Latour, benefits from a unique terroir with clay-limestone soils, protected by rolled pebbles (galets roulés), and favored by a sunny Mediterranean climate. The 7.3 hectares are spread across ten parcels in prestigious lieux-dits including Palestor, Colombis, Le Lac, Coste Froide, Mont-Pertuis, Grand Pierre, and Le Mourre du Gaud. The vines average 50 years old, and the estate produces approximately 13,000 bottles annually. The grape varieties include Grenache Noir (60%), Mourvèdre (10%), Muscardin (5%), Syrah (10%), Vaccarèse (5%), Cinsault (5%), and Counoise (5%) for reds, and Grenache Blanc (40%), Picardan (5%), Picpoul Blanc (5%), Roussanne (30%), Bourboulenc (10%), and Clairette (10%) for whites. The estate is certified HVE (High Environmental Value).
