Château de Parnay
About the Winery
Château de Parnay is situated in the heart of the best Saumur-Champigny terroirs in the Loire Valley, on the edge of the Loire River. The estate passionately cultivates 35 hectares of vines, now certified organic, and is regularly awarded medals at international wine fairs. The vineyard is steeped in history, as it was once owned by Antoine Cristal, who created the famous 'Clos d'Entre les Murs'—a single 0.56-hectare parcel classified as a Historic Monument. This unique walled enclosure features 11 parallel walls that stand proudly inside, allowing the vines to grow within. The estate produces wines across several appellations including Anjou Blanc, Anjou Villages, Coteaux de l'Aubance, Crémant de Loire, Saumur, Saumur Blanc, Saumur-Champigny, and Saumur Rose. Groups of up to 60 people are welcomed.
