Clos des Menuts
About the Winery
Clos des Menuts is located in the heart of the village of Saint-Émilion, much more than a vineyard—it is a family home steeped in memories. The estate spans 30 hectares on clay-limestone soils, planted with 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, with vines averaging 30 years old. The estate produces approximately 150,000 bottles annually, with wines aged in 33% new barrels and 67% one-year barrels. Clos des Menuts is certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE). The estate offers a range of wines including their flagship Clos des Menuts Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, Excellence du Clos des Menuts, and Le Petit Menuts. The estate welcomes visitors in the center of Saint-Émilion for tastings and sales, open Monday to Saturday.
