About the Winery

Château Valandraud is a Premier Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion, located on the clay-limestone soils of Saint-Étienne-de-Lisse. The estate was created by Jean-Luc Thunevin and his wife Murielle Andraud, pioneers of the 'garagiste' movement in Bordeaux. Valandraud has become one of the most sought-after and celebrated wines of Saint-Émilion, known for its meticulous vineyard management and limited production. The wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in new oak barrels, producing a rich, complex, and age-worthy wine that has earned international acclaim.
