About the Winery

Château de Cérons is a family property from the end of the 17th century, classified as a historical monument, located in the heart of the Cérons appellation near Bordeaux. Since 2012, Xavier and Caroline Perromat have been the owners, continuing a family winegrowing tradition of more than 300 years. The estate produces wines in three colors: Graves red, Graves dry white, and the rare sweet Cérons. The estate is certified High Environmental Value (HVE) and ISO 14001, has been converting to organic farming since 2021, and practices biodynamic viticulture. The property offers a unique architectural heritage with a 17th-century manor house and a 12th-century church opposite the main entrance. The estate offers guided tours of the vineyards, barrel cellar, and technical installations, followed by tastings. The estate also features a rotisserie and picnic area, and is accessible by train from Bordeaux (10-minute walk from Cérons station).
