About the Winery
Château de la Gaude is a historic 18th-century estate set in the heart of some thirty hectares near Aix-en-Provence, in the Coteaux-d'Aix-en-Provence appellation. The estate manages 13.5 hectares of vines cultivated using biodynamic farming methods, with a strong commitment to preserving the terroir. The vineyard is planted with traditional Provençal varieties including Grenache Noir, Syrah, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Vermentino (Rolle), Clairette, Grenache Blanc, and Sémillon. The estate is certified organic and produces red, white, and Rose wines. Open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm, closed on weekends. The château also operates as a luxury hotel with meeting and event spaces, combining wine tourism with refined hospitality.
