Château Montlabert is an iconic Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé property located outside the village of Saint-Émilion. The estate's history is closely tied to those of the Saint-Émilion vineyards. Producing approximately 3,100 cases per year, the wines require some aging before enjoyment, typically reaching peak maturity between 4-15 years. The estate is known for its clay-limestone soils and traditional Bordeaux winemaking. Château Montlabert produces wines that are best paired with classic meat dishes and can also complement Asian cuisine. The estate offers tastings and visits, open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.
