Château Gigognan
About the Winery
Château Gigognan, near Avignon, cultivates 110 hectares through Organic Farming, producing quality wines with an environmentally conscious approach. The estate produces Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, as well as Côtes-du-Rhône wines. The vines are planted on clay-limestone soils covered with rounded pebbles (galets roulés), typical of the region. The estate offers wine tourism activities including vineyard walks, cellar visits, tastings, picnics amidst the vines, and bike tours.
