About the Winery

A quality-focused cru situated at the gates of Libourne, commanded by a Directoire-style manor house. Since 1992, Alain Moueix has managed a 25.5-hectare vineyard which he has since converted to biodynamics. The estate is located in the Pomerol appellation and produces Merlot-dominant wines of elegance and depth. The property sells wine through its Club system on its website. The origins of the vineyard are very ancient, attested by the discovery of Gallo-Roman pottery on the site and its position as an urban enclave. Since 1992, a large-scale renovation has been undertaken to enhance the Pomerol appellation terroir, combining modernity and tradition.
