About the Winery
To discover: a pretty chartreuse, built in the XVIIth century and registered with the Historic Monuments and a tasting room recently renovated. Château de Sales is the largest property in the Pomerol appellation with 48 hectares under vine out of 90 total hectares. The property has been owned by the Lambert family for over 550 years, with property limits virtually unchanged since 1578. The estate achieved HVE (High Environmental Value) certification in 2020 and produces wines from 75% Merlot, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
