Famille Fabre
About the Winery
Famille Fabre is one of the oldest winemaking families in Languedoc, with 16 generations of independent winegrowers since 1605. The family manages five châteaux and domains across the Languedoc region, including Château de Luc, their flagship property. Louis Fabre was a pioneer in organic agriculture in the region, converting the vineyards to organic farming as early as 1991. The estate produces a diverse range of wines from numerous grape varieties including Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Viognier, and others. Their wines span multiple appellations including AOC Corbières, AOC Minervois, and IGP Pays d'Oc. The family offers a comprehensive oenotourism experience at Château de Luc, including historical visits, tastings, escape games, and family-friendly activities.
