About the Winery

Champagne Gaston Chiquet's origins go back to 1746 when Nicolas Chiquet planted his first vine. In 1919, Fernand and Gaston Chiquet took the initiative of making champagne from their grapes and selling it themselves. The Gaston Chiquet brand was created in 1935, and the family domain expanded into the Aÿ and Hautvillers terroirs. Today, Antoine and Nicolas Chiquet ensure continuity, respecting ancestral rules. The estate spans 23 hectares across Premier and Grand Cru villages including Hautvillers, Dizy, Aÿ, and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, producing terroir-focused champagnes from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
