About the Winery

William Downie is one of Australia's most thoughtful Pinot Noir winemakers, based in Gippsland. After working in Burgundy, Downie established his label in 2003. He and wife Rachel grow vines on their Guendulain Farm at 10,000 vines per hectare, focusing on minimal intervention, site-specific wines.
