Overview
Murfatlar lies in the Dobrogea Hills between the Danube and the Black Sea, with vineyards on low rolling hills at about 60 to 75 metres. Sea breezes moderate the heat and help preserve acidity in the grapes.
The continental climate is warmed by abundant sunshine and reflected in ripe, full-bodied wines. Fetească Neagră, Băbească Neagră and Merlot reds share the stage with Fetească Regală, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc whites.
