Overview
Luján de Cuyo was the first region in Argentina to be officially recognized for the quality of its Malbec. Located just south of Mendoza city, it combines high altitude, old vines, and alluvial soils to produce wines of depth, structure, and unmistakable character.
The area is dotted with historic wineries and family estates that helped establish Argentina's global reputation. Malbec from Luján de Cuyo tends to be rich and concentrated, with dark fruit, chocolate, and floral notes that reflect its privileged Andean setting.
